(Not Quite) Rant
I hate when people call books/series fads.
They are not fads. As soon as you pick up a book, any book, it becomes a part of you. I don't care if it's considered high quality or not. Every book has value and every book sends you away with something. Whether or not you enjoyed the story, whether or not the characters became people, there is always a lesson to learn from a book.
And I absolutely hate it when people belittle that.
